Maa Jai Shree Jagannath Foundation is registered under Indian Trust Act 1882 on 9th August 2022. We have been working for the upliftment of the marginalised community since our inception. There are multiple thematic areas where we work in. To name a few:
Trust will be extend its service without discriminating the cast, creed and Religion but emphasis will be on educationally backward and Rural people in particular and Weaker section in general.
Shri Jagannath Pathak was born in the year 1950 in a peasant family of "Chadrapura" village under Brahmpur police station of Shahabad (present-day Buxar) district, who was an able politician, administrator, social worker who was educated in "M.Sc., Chemistry" from Ranchi University. While serving as the President of the Students' Union at Ranchi University, Pathak struggled many times (1970-1972) regarding the problems of the students. He was a brilliant student, after completing his studies, got a job in many government departments, eventually he preferred the office of "Accountant General" (1973-1985) of the Government of India, and worked there for 14 years as Senior Auditor, during which time he adorned the post of General Secretary of the Accountant General Bihar Office Association. He brought many reforms for the welfare of the employees there.
A person who considers service as his duty, and wants to leave a land after him, which is better than before. In fact, he is a social reformer who wants to serve humanity in an extraordinary way, just like himself. Pathak ji was an ordinary person, but he did extraordinary work for social development. Pathak ji struggled for the development of the lower strata of people from the very beginning of his social life, in this order he registered the Sanjay Gandhi Co-operative Housing Society. It so happened that class IV employees were denied members, citing the bylaws of the AG co-operative. On the same day, Pathak ji vowed to fight for the rights of class IV employees and ensure their rights. Pathak Ji said A.G. All the class IV employees of the Bihar office were not only provided land by making them members of the Sanjay Gandhi Co-operative Housing Society of the committee; In fact, he also got a loan from the Bihar State Housing Cooperative Federation to build a house for everyone, so that everyone has made the "house of their dreams" a reality.
There are very few people who resign from the government job and dedicate their lives for the development of the society, but Pathak Ji showed that courage, former Chief Minister of Bihar, and Congress leader, Pandit Bindeshwari, suggested to join the National Congress Party, given Pathak's inclination towards social life. Subsequently, Pathak resigned from the job of the Government of India and joined the "Indian National Congress Party". After joining active politics in the Congress, Shri Pathak has also held various organizational and political positions in Bihar since 1986.
Pathak ji never compromised on his principles, always did politics based on values and kept the society and national interest paramount. They always thought, "No struggle, no trouble, what fun to live again"...... "The storm will also stop, when the goal is in the chest". With this thought, he took his last breath on 27 October 2021, like a true karmayogi in his social life.
